Our Team
Jacob Broussard

Jacob represents and advocates on behalf of Indian tribes and tribally owned enterprises. He advises on a variety of matters, including federal policy, Indian gaming, land into trust, economic development, litigation, and cannabis regulation in Indian Country.
Some of Jacob’s representative work includes: Drafting tribal governing documents for a California tribe, including its Constitution, Business Code, and Tax Code. Jacob has also assisted a tribally owned business in securing investment for the expansion of its cannabis operation. Jacob also regularly represents clients in commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts. His experience covers a broad range of commercial disputes, including multi-million dollar breach of contract claims. Additionally, Jacob has experience working on a variety of commercial real estate and corporate transactions.
While in law school, Jacob served as a judicial extern to the Hon. John Tuchi at the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. He also served as a legal extern to the Department of the Interior, Office of the Solicitor, Division of Indian Affairs. Prior to law school, Jacob served as a Wilma Mankiller Fellow at the National Congress of American Indians in Washington, D.C.
