Clients of Richard Bookspan benefit from his decades of experience in estate planning, probate and business law.
Richard regularly assists estate planning clients in creating wills, trusts and powers of attorney. Richard also provides probate and trust administration assistance for his clients.
Richard is also a valuable legal resource for business owners in entity formation (LLCs, corporations and partnerships), business contracts, and business transactions involving closely held companies, as well as buy-sell agreements and business succession planning.
Outside of his legal practice, Richard has promoted and managed bicycle racing events for major companies that include 7-Eleven, Nabisco, and the Fiesta Bowl. Promotions included Olympic Mountain Bike Trials and other national events, as well as the Arizona State Championship Mountain Bike Series. Richard was a high ranking USA Cycling official and motor cycle referee, working at National Championship events.
As a former road and mountain bike competitor, Richard is still an avid cyclist and hiker. He enjoys art, reading and the outdoors through membership in the Phoenix Art Museum, the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, Arizona Audubon and the Grand Canyon Trust.
Richard and his wife, Susan, raised three sons and now enjoy their grandchildren, all living in the Phoenix area.
