John Buric
John Buric’s law practice includes contracts, construction and business law, mobile home community, RV, landlord-tenant, HOA and notary law.
John Buric, a shareholder at Warner Angle, has a multifaceted practice of law encompassing numerous subject areas including construction, real estate, business, contracts, homeowners and community association law, mobile home and manufactured home community law, recreational vehicle community law, consumer law, landlord-tenant, state administrative proceedings (including the Registrar of Contractors and the Arizona Department of Housing), notary law, arbitration, mediation, eminent domain and business and civil litigation.
Since 1988, Mr. Buric has successfully handled thousands of matters covering a diverse array of subjects. He also served as a Maricopa County Superior Court Civil Judge Pro Tem for 17 years.
Mr. Buric received his B.A. degree in business administration, cum laude, from Augustana College (Illinois), and his Doctor of Jurisprudence, with distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he was a member of the Iowa Law Review. He subsequently served as a law clerk/extern to the Honorable James Duke Cameron, Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court.
Mr. Buric is admitted to practice law in the States of Arizona and Colorado, the United States District Court of Arizona and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Buric is devoted to educating individuals and businesses on understanding and complying with applicable laws, making wise business and legal decisions, planning for the future, and anticipating and avoiding problems. He presents educational seminars and authors articles tailored for specific industries and topics including construction, manufactured housing community law, notary law, RV law, contracts, landlord-tenant, among others.
Legal Experience
Mediation/Arbitration/Investigations Mr. Buric is an independent mediator and arbitrator, including seventeen years as a Superior Court Judge Pro Tem. The majority of disputes in which he has served as a mediator were successfully resolved, bringing the dispute to a conclusion and avoiding further uncertainty and expense for the participants. He also serves as an arbitrator, to promptly and cost effectively resolve disputes, and as an independent investigator when businesses or individuals desire an objective assessment on matters of importance. Commercial and Civil Litigation Mr. Buric has handled a wide variety of commercial and civil litigation matters and appeals, including business and real estate matters, homeowners' and community association cases, construction disputes, contracts, consumer actions, warranty claims, negligent building inspections, collections, tort claims, rental car industry issues, among countless others. He also represents individuals and businesses in State administrative proceedings, such as the Registrar of Contractors and the Department of Housing. Business Law And Transactions Mr. Buric represents and advises diverse businesses on transactions, contracts, negotiations, liability avoidance, legal planning, litigation and day to day business matters. He has been involved in business purchase and sale transactions, franchising, business disputes, drafting of contracts and leases, real estate transactions and litigation. Mr. Buric also serves as corporate counsel to businesses. Homeowner and Community Association Law For decades Mr. Buric has represented homeowners, residential and commercial community associations, and property and community management firms on a diverse array of matters, including contracts, business issues, litigation, dispute resolution, mediation, document interpretation, document drafting, property disputes, construction claims, real estate and other unique and complex matters. Mr. Buric also works as co- counsel with community association attorneys in other law firms, and also provides behind the scenes support for them on matters that are outside of their areas of practice. Construction Law – Contractors and Owners Mr. Buric has represented a diverse array of contractors, providing them with day-to-day advice, contract assistance, dispute resolution, the pursuit or defense of construction claims, and addressing matters with the Registrar of Contractors. He also represents commercial and residential property owners who seek to enforce construction warranties, claims for defective inspections, materials or construction practices or to pursue remedies through the Registrar of Contractors. A large portion of his construction law practice has also focused on residential matters and high-end custom homes. Mr. Buric provides sensible advice to contractors and property owners, brings and defends lawsuits and administrative complaints, and assists in resolving disputes between contractors and property owners. Mr. Buric is an author of numerous educational articles for the construction industry and presents construction related educational seminars. Manufactured Home/Mobile Home and RV Community Law For over 30 years Mr. Buric has exclusively advised and represented the owners, developers and management of residential manufactured home communities and resorts, mobile home communities and recreational vehicle communities on matters involving a broad range of state and federal laws, business issues, real estate, development issues, eminent domain, governmental disputes, contracts, purchases and sales, property disputes, financing and re-financing, and administrative complaints and litigation. He also drafts proper leasing documents and assists in developing sound business practices to allow landlords to comply with the law, avoid problems and improve their communities. Mr. Buric’s clientele includes resorts and communities which are locally owned and operated, as well as those owned by out of state individuals, businesses and REITS who desire highly experienced legal counsel. Mr. Buric has significant experience representing and defending communities in all aspects of litigation, including defending complaints brought before the Arizona Department of Housing and the Arizona Attorney General. Mr. Buric regularly authors articles on important issues and presents educational seminars to the industry. Landlord-Tenant Law / Real Estate Mr. Buric handles landlord-tenant matters and primarily focuses on representing landlords. He prepares leases and customized rental documents, litigates and negotiates the resolution of disputes, and represents landlords in court and administrative proceedings. Real Estate Mr. Buric has been involved in a wide variety of real estate matters, including leasing, property sales and purchases, landlord-tenant matters, condemnation/eminent domain, document drafting, property disputes, zoning and development issues. Warner Angle’s solid team of real estate, transactional and construction attorneys and paralegals allow for full-service representation on virtually any type of real estate matter. Consumer Law Mr. Buric represents individuals and businesses in consumer matters, including those involving purchase and sales transactions, contracts, real estate, theft of money and products, negligent home inspections, breach of contract, condemnation/eminent domain, warranty claims and consumer fraud. Notary Law Notaries and notarial acts serve important functions in personal and business transactions. Mr. Buric is a notary public who has been involved in litigation matters involving fraud and notarial errors. Mr. Buric provides educational seminars to law firms and businesses on notary law, including how to properly perform the acts of a notary, the implications if errors are made, details to evaluate when assessing notarized documents, errors that could constitute malpractice or cause a document or transaction to be invalid, and how to effectively supervise notary employees or use the services of a notary. Mr. Buric develops notary policies for law firms and other businesses, provides forensic evaluation of notarial acts, and serves as an expert on notarial acts and transactions.
